A blind date with a book is a fun reading trend where bookstores, libraries, or online sellers wrap a book in paper so you cannot see the cover, title, or author.
How It Works
-
The Wrap: The book is hidden inside brown or decorative paper.
-
The Clues: Instead of the title, the outside wrapper features brief genre tags, keywords, or a short teaser written from a reader's perspective.
-
The Extras: Many packages include surprise items like bookmarks, tea, stickers, or snacks.
-
The Goal: It helps you step out of your comfort zone, ignore cover bias, and discover new authors.
